Adjust hand shake, blood colors and puppy sounds

Hand shake intensity, the blood color choice and the puppy mute switch solve three different comfort problems. Change one at a time so you can identify the setting that actually helps.

Steady the view during hand work

Hotfix 1.0.1 separated hand shake intensity into its own setting. Change it, then compare the same short peeling motion before and after. Camera Comfort and play without timed input are also included in the Steam accessibility listing. Someone selecting the game for timing accessibility can check that listing separately from the intensity of movement on screen.

Put the pointer on the same patch of a potato for both comparisons. Change only hand shake intensity and make one short pass with the same input device. If the knife still wobbles, distinguish the visible hand motion from the entire camera drifting as you stand still. In the controls thread the developer also describes Tremor Treatment as a rank progression effect. That progression change and the later adjustable comfort setting are two different things to report.

Pick a legible color

In 1.0.2, open the new Accessibility tab for the blood color and color-blindness filter options. The patch increased the brightness of green, blue and purple blood. Try a color change first. Then compare the same scene with a filter if you need one, so you can tell which adjustment makes the detail easier to distinguish.

Write down the original blood colour and filter before changing them. For comparison select a scene where the coloured mark is already visible; a menu preview or an empty floor cannot show whether contrast improved in play. If green or purple is still too dark, report the chosen colour, the filter combination, the version and the same patch of scenery. You can restore your initial combination after the comparison.

Keep game audio while quieting the puppy

The separate puppy mute arrived in 1.0.1, when the lost puppy could still whine. In 1.0.2 the switch also silences that lost whine. If you want to hear the lost cue, leave the puppy audible. For other sounds, the Steam store lists custom volume controls. The developer specifically documents the puppy switch, so a persistent bark and an unrelated room sound should be reported separately.

Keep the master volume unchanged. Toggle only the puppy control when you can hear the puppy, then check a distinct room sound. If both go silent, inspect the broader volume controls before attributing it to the puppy switch. If ordinary puppy noises disappear but the lost whine remains, include whether the puppy is lost, the sound that persists and your game version; that exact distinction changed between hotfixes.
