Revisit the ending from existing progress
Use the finished save for a second look at the ending. Starting a new shift is unnecessary for this purpose. After the first hotfix, a previously cleared yard should stay clear on load and a finished save should no longer bring the snowstorm back. If what you see differs, note whether that particular save was made before completion or after it.
Before replaying, preserve a dated copy of the finished slot and profile. A player looking for a different destination can use the completed save to revisit the train; one looking for a different outcome from earlier letters needs a save from before the relevant replies. Label the two copies “finished” and “before letters” if you have both. Loading the finished slot again cannot reconstruct an earlier decision point.
Check the HUD and the recorded time
A separate fix in 1.0.2 restored the HUD when loading after the ending. That patch also stopped an ending replay from changing the shift time. If you want to document a discrepancy, capture the time before opening the finished save and again after the replay. Include whether the problem concerns your displayed time or a missing global leaderboard entry.
At the first load check three observable things separately: the yard stays cleared, the HUD reappears, and the recorded time remains unchanged by replay. If a time changes after a replay, capture the original time before loading and the displayed time afterward from the same place. A cropped achievement popup or a picture of the train cannot show whether the timer actually changed.
The linked records screen provides another check: the fastest-shift board has separate difficulty tabs, and the Global and Friends filters return different lists. Select the same difficulty and scope in both captures. The lifetime hand-peeled counter on the neighbouring tab measures something else.
If a leaderboard entry disappears
Golden Horn Studios says it reviewed the global boards and removed invalid times. Its stated review route for an incorrectly removed run is to send a recording. Keep the original run recording and identify the shift time and leaderboard entry you mean. Replaying the ending only shows the ending, so recording that replay provides different evidence from recording the run itself.
For a board review, include the time as it appeared, the account’s public leaderboard name, the version and a link to the original recording. Send it through the developer’s report channel. If you have only the ending replay, say so; it can document the destination or a display bug but it cannot show what happened during the full timed run.
