Cold or a flamethrower before the storm
A fresh shift should not inherit storm chill or receive the free flamethrower early. Golden Horn Studios corrected both symptoms in 1.0.2. A save made before the storm could also be affected when resumed. Record whether you selected a new game or loaded a slot, and whether the weather effect and the free item are both present. The notes describe the premature effects without specifying a scheduled minute for the intended storm.
During the intended storm the walkthrough records a different sequence: the yard door stays shut while the warning is active. Stay inside and continue available work until the instruction changes. When recovery begins, select the supplied flamethrower from the tool slots. On the documented PC mouse layout, hold the left mouse button to fire. If you can equip it on a new save before any warning or objective, report that as premature equipment rather than waiting beside the door.
Snow indoors or a delivery hidden in the yard
After the storm, blocks of snow could appear inside the room. The 1.0.2 update fixed these blocks. If you still see them, capture the obstruction from the room entrance so its position is clear. The same update corrected supply drops getting caught on the crane. Look at ground or snow level for the delivery. If a drop appears stranded, include the ground below it in the screenshot.
To advance the recovery objective, first sweep the outside snow banks until the instruction changes. The second sweep is for pale frozen potatoes around the mound, even after the path looks clear. Move your view along the visible edges and apply the flame to the remaining icy stock. Use the game’s yard-thawed confirmation as your finish signal. A snow block still inside the workroom after that confirmation is a separate patch-related symptom.
A cleared yard changes on reload
If the yard was cleared, note that fact before reloading. The developers fixed two persistence problems in 1.0.1: the yard should remain clear, and loading a finished save should no longer bring back the snowstorm. Include the game version, save state and exact point at which the weather changes if the issue recurs. The Troubleshooting page has a report option for persistent faults.
Take a manual save only after the yard-thawed confirmation; keep any earlier diagnostic slot separately. After reloading, compare the objective text and the yard with their state just before saving. If a snowbank or the whole weather event comes back, record which appears first, whether the train ending had already occurred and which build created the slot. A pre-event slot legitimately returning you to an earlier part of the shift is a different result.
